Paternal Aunt or Uncle of a Parent

 

Your parent's paternal aunt or paternal uncle is your paternal great-aunt or paternal great-uncle.  This person must also be a sibling to either one of your grandfathers.

 

When determining your mother's maternal aunts and uncles, you will only count your maternal grandfather's siblings.  When determining your father's maternal aunts and uncles, you will only count your paternal grandfather's siblings.

 

You have two (potential) sets of aunts and uncles: Those who are your mother's siblings (maternal) and those who are your father's siblings (paternal).

 

Similarly, each of your parents has two (potential) sets of aunts and uncles, which means that you have four (potential) sets of great-aunts and great-uncles.
